When leads are referred under the status of Pending Review, your firm wants to be updated on the status of the referred lead.
Initially, the referral firm will receive an email that looks like this:
This initial email can be customized using message templates.
If they will review the lead, there are automated emails and tasks related to this lead to make sure your firm is updated on the lead.
If they are not interested in the lead, no follow up procedures will occur.
Follow up procedure:
When a lead is referred, there are tasks that will be automatically completed/assigned to ensure your firm is keeping track of the status of the lead.

Pending Review - Referral firm has not reviewed the lead yet
- Task to check in with the firm 3 days after the lead is referred to see if they are going to review the lead
- A reminder email will be sent to the firm 24 hours prior to when the task is assigned
- If they change the status of the lead from Pending Review to Reviewing after receiving the reminder email, the task will no longer be assigned for this status
Reviewing - Referral firm is looking at the lead details and deciding whether or not there's a potential case
- Task to check in with the firm 5 days after the status is changed to Reviewing to see if they signed up this lead
- A reminder email will be sent to the firm 24 hours prior to when the task is assigned
- If they change the status of the lead from Reviewing to Signed Up after checking the reminder email, the task will no longer be assigned for this status
Signed Up - Referral firm has signed up the lead and is moving forward with their case
- Task to check in with firm 90 days after the lead status is changed to Signed Up to see if they have settled and closed the case
- A reminder email will be sent 24 hour prior to when the task is assigned
- If they change the status of the lead from Signed Up to Settled / Closed after checking the reminder email, the task will no longer be assigned for this status
Settled / Closed - Case is resolved and there's a settlement
- Task to check in with firm 90 days after the lead status is changed to Settled / Closed to see if they have the settlement information for the case
