Integrate Lead Docket with Vinesign, enabling you to text or email important documents to your leads within Lead Docket.
Vinesign is a tool for filling and signing PDF documents that allows users to text or email important documents to clients. Learn more about signing up for Vinesign.
Vinesign and Integration Setup
To set up a Vinesign account and a Vinesign/Lead Docket integration, reach out to Filevine’s chat support at support@filevine.com. In the email, include the information for the user who will be the account Admin. Once you have opened a Vinesign account, the Admin can follow the steps in Set Up Vinesign to add users and adjust settings.
Templates
Vinesign templates can be pulled into Lead Docket, where they can be sent to recipients for signing.
Sending a Vinesign document through Lead Docket can be made even easier by creating Vinesign document templates with merge codes, which will automatically fill information from that lead. Learn more about using merge codes for Vinesign.
Filling and Signing
Once you have integrated, you will be able to send Vinesign documents from within Lead Docket to be reviewed, filled, and signed by Vinesign.
To send a document through Vinesign, go to the Documents tab of the lead you’d like to send for and click Send Documents via Vinesign.
In the opened modal, select the desired templates. If choosing multiple templates, you may only select templates with the same number of signers. The order in which you select the templates will be the order in which they appear to signers. The template’s order number is marked to the right. Once you’ve selected all desired templates, click Continue.
After clicking Continue, you can choose whether to send the document via email or via text. You can also choose additional levels of authentication. Require gesture authentication requires a recipient to authenticate via a photo. Expire in 24 hours will make the link expire 24 hours after sending.
Once the signer and authentication have been selected, click Send.
Document Status
When the document has been sent, it will appear in the “Electronic Signature Documents” section with the status “Sent” and date and time of sending.
When the recipient views the document, the status will change to “In Progress.” When the recipient signs the document, the status will change to “Signed” and the signed document will appear at the bottom of the documents tab page.
Once the document has been signed, a new message will also appear on the Intake Dashboard from that lead, letting you know that the document has been signed.
Tasks
Once Vinesign and Lead Docket have been integrated, those on the task list will automatically be assigned the task of sending the document for electronic signature through Vinesign, depending on the status of the lead and signup.
