This article discusses notifications in Lead Docket. To change your organization’s notification settings, contact Lead Docket support.
The Basics
Lead Docket notifies users of incoming opportunities, messages, and tasks. These notifications appear in the top navigation bar.
Opportunities
The star icon represents your opportunities, and the red number indicates the amount of outstanding opportunities. Click the icon to view the names, received dates, and sources of the five most recent opportunities.
Select an opportunity to open the Add Lead form, where you can convert the opportunity to a lead or disregard it.
Messages
The chat icon represents your messages, and the blue number indicates the amount of unread messages. Click the icon to view a preview of the five most recent unread messages, including the sender’s name and the date the message was received.
Select a message to open the Messages tab of the lead and mark the message as read. You can also click View Unread Messages to view a list of all unread messages. If there are no unread messages, the View Recently Read Messages option will appear instead.
Tasks
The list icon represents your tasks, and the yellow number indicates the amount of unresolved tasks assigned to you. Click the icon to view a preview of the five most recent unresolved tasks.
Each item will show the name of the lead, task details, type of task, and when the task was assigned. Click a task to open the task’s information, or click View All Tasks to view all unresolved tasks.
Pop-Up and Sound Notifications
When enabled, pop-up and sound notifications will appear for incoming opportunities and messages. Users will not receive pop-up or sound notifications for incoming tasks.
The video below shows the pop-up and sound notification for an incoming opportunity.
Both pop-up and sound notifications are enabled by default. If you would like to disable or enable these notifications, contact Lead Docket support.
