Step 1 - Click the Users button under the Manage tab in the left navigation menus
**Only Administrators can add and remove users
Step 2 - Find the user you want to remove by:
- Finding them in the user list
- Searching for them in search bar at the top right
Step 3 - Click the blue "Edit" button next to the user's name
Step 4 - Uncheck both of the boxes next to "Active?" and "Licensed"
Step 5 - Reassign all active leads associated with this user to other people in the firm so the leads don't disappear (Note: This must be done before making the user inactive).
All tasks associated with the leads will be moved with the leads.
In this example, the user is both an Attorney and Intake, so they have leads associated with both roles. See below for an example of how to reassign an inactive user's leads.
Step 5 (cont.)
The leads in red boxes are selected to be assigned to a different attorney.
The selected attorney for these leads is Devin Lawyer. Click the "Save Changes" button when you want to save the leads to the reassigned person.
The remaining leads will need to be assigned to another attorney or split between multiple attorneys. (Note: This is just an example, sometimes all leads will be assigned to one attorney)
Step 5 (cont.)
The leads in red boxes are selected to be assigned to a different intake person.
The selected intake person for these leads is Jordan Intake. Click the "Save Changes" button when you want to save the leads to the reassigned person.
The remaining leads will need to be assigned to another intake or split between multiple intake staff. (Note: This is just an example, sometimes all leads will be assigned to one intake person)
Step 6 - Click the Save button after all leads are reassigned and the user will no longer be associated with any leads or be able to sign into Lead Docket.
