Admin users can edit email settings for their organization in Manage > Settings > Email.
Navigate
In the left side menu, click Manage and select Settings from the dropdown. In the Settings section menu bar, select Email.
In this section, you can view and edit the following information:
- Firm Email: Your firm’s primary email address
- Mail Validation Level: Indicates whether your emails are sent from Lead Docket’s domain, or your firm’s domain. If not validated, all mail is sent from Lead Docket’s domain ([hostname]@messages.leaddocket.com). If your organization has completed the domain authentication [link] process, all mail is sent from your firm domain ([hostname]@[yourfirm].com).
- Reply To Email - Messages to Clients: The email address that replies from clients are sent to. By default, this field contains “[hostname]@messages.leaddocket.com”, which allows replies to be sent to Lead Docket. If the field is left blank, client replies are sent to the original message sender. When the field is blank, you can click Replies to Lead Docket on the right-hand side to add “[hostname]@messages.leaddocket.com” to the field
- Reply To Email - Messages to Lead Docket Users: The email address that replies from internal users are sent to. By default, this field contains “[hostname]@messages.leaddocket.com”, which allows replies to be sent to Lead Docket. If the field is left blank, user replies are sent to the firm email. When the field is blank, you can click Replies to Lead Docket on the right-hand side to add “[hostname]@messages.leaddocket.com” to the field
- Daily Summary Recipient Emails: The email addresses of daily summary email recipients. If entering multiple email addresses into this field, add a semicolon between addresses to separate them.
Daily summary emails provide an overview of your organization’s recent lead activity, as shown below:
These emails are sent approximately 30 minutes after your organization’s business close time on business days, which can be configured in Manage > Settings > Account Settings. - Task Appointment CC: The email addresses that are CC’d on calendar invites for “Scheduled” leads, which can be configured using task templates [link]. If entering multiple email addresses into this field, add a semicolon between addresses to separate them
- Calendar Event Duration: The length of calendar events sent by task templates, in minutes
When you’ve finished making any desired edits, be sure to click Save.
